R00-8Y, nicknamed Ruby, was a modified DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droid owned by Mubo, the proprietor of the Droid Depot in the town of Black Spire Outpost on Batuu. Mubo programmed R00-8Y to act as his personal assistant, and the probe droid became his constant companion. R00-8Y possessed a set of modified capabilities that included an odor neutralizer.^[1]
