- "What is the good, if not the teacher of the bad? What is the bad, if not the task of the good?"
- ―The Question of Master Jrul
The Question of Master Jrul was a famous bit of philosophy from Jedi Master Jrul, formulated some time before the Clone Wars. The Master's question pondered the connection between good and evil. Fellow Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi remembered this question during the Battle of Coruscant[1] in 19 BBY[2] while facing the Separatist Supreme Commander, Grievous.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Question of Master Jrul was first mentioned in the 2005 novel Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith written by Matthew Stover.[1]
