The Quasar Fire II-class Cruiser-Carrier was a model of Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier used by the Imperial Navy during the Imperial Era. At one point, one such cruiser-carrier flew over a cloudy celestial body, accompanied by TIE/IN interceptors and TIE/d "Defender" Multi-Role Starfighters, while carrying various TIE series starships.[1]
The Quasar Fire II was wedge shaped, with four hangar bays protruding from its rear ventral hull. It also featured sublight engines[1] and measured 340 meters (1,116 feet).[2] The ship served as the successor to the Quasar Fire I-class Cruiser-Carrier.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Quasar Fire II-class Cruiser-Carrier was first mentioned on a card of the same name in the 2017 Imperial Light Carrier Expansion Pack of Fantasy Flight Games' miniatures game Star Wars: Armada.[1]
