Quarantine of Endregaad

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

In 19 ABY,^[1] the Joxin system planet Endregaad^[2] in the Indrexu sector^[3] was placed under quarantine by the Corporate Sector Authority. Following the crash in Endregaad's Temple Valley of a Skydove Freight YV-100 light freighter carrying the spice Tempest on behalf of the Hutt Mika Anjiliac, a deadly plague originating from the planet Varl spread from the vessel to the people of Endregaad. With significant loss of life, the civilian government of Endregaad collapsed. Officials from the Tion Hegemony requested assistance from the Corporate Sector Authority in containing the outbreak and assigned the aged Invincible-class Dreadnaught Heavy Cruiser Resolute to blockade the plague-stricken world. Under the command of Lieutenant Commander Angela Krin,^[2] the CSA forces interdicted passing starships and prohibited unauthorized vessels from landing on Endregaad.^[1] The CSA established a relief area in a sports ground in a southern district of Endregaad's main settlement Tel Bollin^[2] but the Corporate Sector Authority's bureaucracy delayed the supply of medicine to alleviate the crisis.^[1]

Mika had been present on Endregaad when the quarantine was enforced, recovering the crashed Skydove Freight vessel, and became trapped on the planet. Mika's father Popara, patriarch of the Anjiliac Hutt clan, dispatched the Jedi archivist Mander Zuma and the spacers Reen Irana and Eddey Be'ray to Endregaad on a mission to find Mika and deliver medicinal spice. The trio breached the CSA blockade and tracked down Mika on the quarantined world.^[1]
