A Quantum-switch code key was a type of code key used by the Galactic Empire.[1]
Incredibly secure, quantum-switch code keys consisted of a shapeshifting data lattice and small contact terminals, and were used to secure only the most valuable of assets. Once made, they were considered one-of-a-kind, and were matched to a specific user's biological signature.[1]
Quantum-switch code keys were notably used to secure the Conveyex high-security cargo containers on Vandor, which on one notable occasion carried a fortune of Coaxium - though these keys did little to prevent Tobias Beckett and his crew from stealing the entire cargo container itself.[1]
