Pyya Bocc was a male[3] Twi'lek and good friend of the podracer Volo Bolus[2] in around 10 BBY.[4]
Behind the scenes
Pyya Bocc first appeared via a hologram and flashback sequences in the canon comic book one-shot Beyond Victory 1, written by Ethan Sacks, illustrated by Steven Cummings, Will Sliney, and Shogo Aoki,[2] and published by Marvel Comics as an exclusive giveaway during Star Wars Celebration Japan at the ILM/Meta booth from April 18–20, 2025. The one-shot acts as a prequel tie-in to the virtual reality video game Star Wars: Beyond Victory - A Mixed Reality Playset.[5] The character would later receive identification for his last name, "Bocc," and reappear in the game through voice lines by Yuri Lowenthal.[3]
