"Pursuit among the Ruins!" was the fifth instalment of The Keeper's World, published in Pizzazz 5 in February 1978. The entire story arc was reprinted in the UK in Star Wars Weekly 47–50 in 1978–79, and in the 1999 limited-release comic Star Wars 0.

Plot summary

An Imperial Commander and a complement of Stormtroopers land on Keeper's World and pursue Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, C-3PO, and R2-D2, who have been stranded after a crash landing. The droids cannot outrun the Stormtroopers, so Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and the droids take cover in the ruins of a temple. Just as they are cornered, C-3PO accidentally activates a device that causes them to vanish, not knowing where they might reappear.

  2. ↑ "The Keeper's World" and "The Kingdom of Ice" depict the Rebel Alliance still occupying their base on Yavin 4 after the Battle of Yavin, meaning that the stories must fall between Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope and the Evacuation of Yavin as shown in "Doom Mission". The New Essential Chronology dates the Battle of Yavin and Evacuation of Yavin to 0 ABY and 0.5 ABY respectively.
