Public Safety Commission

The Public Safety Commission was an organization that was responsible for medical and emergency crisis response on the planet Chandrila. As of 22 BBY, the organization had 575 employees. That year, in response to the vote to form the Grand Army of the Republic, the employees, among whom was Ocandra Leeds, who believed this would depersonalize their services, walked off the job for 48 standard hours in protest.
