Psyonix is a development studio that developed and published the video game Rocket League, which released on July 7, 2015.[3] On May 1, 2019, it was announced that Epic Games had acquired Psyonix alongside their projects,[2] though it was not until June of that year when the studio fully joined Epic Games.[1]
