Prototype B-16 was a prototype battle droid designed by the Schism Collective for the New Empire during the Galactic War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. During the later stages of the Battle of Ilum, it and its counterpart, Prototype A-14, were destroyed aboard the Emperor's Fortress. Standing far taller than the average being, the two wielded electrostaffs and a powerful shield that could be transferred between them.[2]
Behind the scenes
Prototypes B-16 and A-14 appears as bosses in the Flashpoint "The False Emperor" in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, which was released by BioWare in 2011.[2]
