The Protocol of Qah was a Yuuzhan Vong protocol used by the Shaper caste. It described the process by which reflexes could be imprinted onto a living being. In 26.5 ABY, Shaper Adept Nen Yim tried to kill Master Shaper Kae Kwaad by imprinting a series of reflexes on a grutchin, which were keyed to the scent signature of Kwaad.[1]

The Protocol of Qah first appeared in the novel The New Jedi Order: Edge of Victory II: Rebirth, written by Greg Keyes and released on July 31, 2001.[1]
