A prismatic crystal housing was a blaster component.[1] It held the weapon's prismatic crystal, which focused the energy beam released from the weapon's actuating module. The beam passed into the barrel of the weapon where it was further focused by galven circuitry.[2] The entire housing could be removed and replaced using a prismatic crystal aligner.[3]
