Prex was the title for the personal representative of the Executive Directorship Board of the Corporate Sector Authority. These individuals were selected by their peers and would serve for three years on the Direx Board. This made it serve as a counterbalance to the position of ExO. The Prex was also responsible for the secret annual reports to Emperor Palpatine, which they did personally.
Chils Meplin was a Prex.
