Power Converters was a publication in circulation during the Imperial Era, and was available on Tatooine. Luke Skywalker was interested in the series, and visited Tosche Station with his friend Biggs Darklighter to read several issues. Covers of the publication featured various modified droids, including DUM-series pit droids, R-series astromech droids, and B1-series battle droids.[2]

Behind the scenes

Power Converters is featured in a non-canonical section of Launchpad in Star Wars Insider 216 that was written by Jamie Cosley.[2]
