A portable commnet uplink was a communications device employed by the inhabitants of Rabaan and S'krrr. When the Combat was called, and chosen warriors fought on the Combat Moon, each had one half of the portable commnet uplink. Once the combat had been settled, the victor took the half from the defeated loser to broadcast their victory to the Ishanna system.[1]
