The Polis Massa religious caste was a religious group associated with Polis Massa,[1] a planet that was destroyed by ancient superweapons hundreds of years before the Clone Wars.[2] By the time of the Galactic Civil War, the caste was considered a lost civilization.[1]

The Polis Massa religious caste was first mentioned in the 2021 novel Victory's Price: An Alphabet Squadron Novel, written by Alexander Freed, as part of the title of the novel's fifth chapter, "Night Vigils of the Polis Massa Religious Caste." All of the chapter titles in the first part of the novel are "indigenous songs of lost civilizations."[1]
It is possible that the caste is associated with the Eellayin, an extinct civilization that resided on Polis Massa before the planet's destruction.[2]
