Pol pollen was a substance known to make kowakian monkey-lizards both crazy and dangerous. The slicer "DJ" equated the Vesustrian resort security guard Dezmoont to a pol pollen using monkey-lizard, except even crazier.[1]
Behind the scenes
Pol pollen was first mentioned in Star Wars canon in the 2018 comic book Star Wars: The Last Jedi – DJ – Most Wanted 1, written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker.[1] Pol pollen was originally created by author William C. Dietz for the 1997 Star Wars Legends novella Dark Forces: Soldier for the Empire.[2]
