Po "Big Guns" Mc'annon was a pirate during the time of the Galactic Civil War. As the war escalated following the Battle of Yavin, both the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, as well as neutral groups, recruited a large number of starfighter pilots. Po Mc'annon and other fellow pirates, including Vsin Starbomber, organized a contest to shoot down and loot the new pilots.[1]
