Pneumonia was a deadly disease that, as of 21.5 BBY, was unknown to galactic society but had ravaged less civilized populations, such as the Korunnai.[2] It attacked and congested the lungs, which would cause labored respiration and wheezing. Antibiotics were used to treat this condition,[2] as well as plethyl nitrate in some species, such as Devaronians.[1]
