A plasma bolt, also known as a Plasma bolt shell, was a type of explosive projectile.[1]
Characteristics
A plasma bolt consisted of an explosive plasma charge encased in a shell that had rifling grooves for increased accuracy. Plasma shells varied in size, from larger grenade-like shells that could be fired from launchers, to small finger-like cartridges that could be fired from rifles. Plasma bolts could travel hundreds of meters, and struck with impressive force.[1]
History
The Knights of Ren made use of plasma bolt ammunition, specifically Cardo with his arm cannon, and Kuruk in his blaster rifle.[1]
