Pizo sticks were slickbark tree branches that had been dried and cured. Chandrilans living on the planet Chandrila, especially pilots, chewed the sticks for their juice to stay awake.[1] In 4 ABY,[2] the Zabrak Jas Emari chewed a pizo stick while in Chandrila's capital, Hanna City.[1]

Pizo sticks appeared in Aftermath: Life Debt, a 2016 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the second installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
