Phil was a male individual who served the Galactic Empire. He was in charge of playing music whenever Darth Vader entered a room. At some point Phil called in sick to work, which made Darth Vader angry at a stormtrooper who attempted to replace his music with bluegrass.[1]

Behind the scenes

Phil is mentioned in a non-canonical section of Launchpad in Star Wars Insider 173 that was written by Rus Brown and Jamie Cosley.[1]
