The Phelope system was located in the Gateworlds, an area of the Hapes Cluster in the Slice portion of the Inner Rim. It was connected via hyperlanes to the Gateworlds' Zadaria system and the Ediorung system in the Interior Region.[1] The Phelope system was the origin point of the beverage known as A Walk in the Phelopean Forest.[2][3]
Behind the scenes
The Phelope system was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-9.[1]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for A Walk in the Phelopean Forest in relation to the Phelope system.
