Phantasmal beasts, also called phantasmal beasts of Moraband, were creatures of the dark side native to the planet Moraband. They had the rough appearance and movement of a canine predator. The beasts were concealed amid inky, tangible shadow except for their teeth and Red eyes. The beasts fed on terror rather than flesh, they hunted in packs to inflict suffering on their prey. It was unknown if the beasts were animals corrupted by the dark side or illusions of the force. It was also unknown if the beasts felt pain.[1]
