Peter Francis James, born in 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, is an American actor[1] and voice-over artist known for his deep baritone voice. James frequently narrates audiobooks, and he voiced the Jedi narrator in both the book-and-record adaptation of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace[2] and the Star Wars Episode I: Junior Jedi Training Manual.[3]
