The Personnel Division of the Army of the Galactic Republic, also known simply as the Personnel Division or the Department of Personnel Action, was a branch of the Republic Army that operated during the time of the Cold War. It was responsible for dealing with Republic Military personnel and investigating possible signs of traitors present in their ranks.
During the Cold War, Elara Dorne contacted Kalor after her brother defected from the Sith Empire. Dorne intended to contact the division about making further contact with her brother in order to ease his entry into the Republic. However, Captain Kalor believed that Sergeant Dorne was hiding vital secrets and spent a considerable amount of resources in order to force her to reveal anything she knew about Imperial society.
Behind the scenes
The Republic Army Personnel Division appeared in the BioWare-LucasArts video game Star Wars: The Old Republic in 2011 in companion conversations between the Republic Trooper player character and Elara Dorne.[1]
