Characteristics
A personal vibrosaw was a type of bracer mounted vibrosaw often used by soldiers to cut through dense vegetation or through bulkheads. When activated, the bracer mount ejected a thin blade equipped with a diamond-tipped chain; the rapid rotation of the chain coupled with ultrasonic vibration allowed the vibrosaw to cut through virtually any material - though it cut through durasteel the easiest, with reinforced and armored materials taking more time.[1]
