Persistent was the nickname Han Solo gave to one of his opponents in The Big Game. Persistent was a red-skinned humanoid who persistently tried to shoot Han Solo. Although Han's needle ray had been disabled, Han managed to use a ray shield to deflect an opponent's blast into Persistent's chest.
