Perleks were flying creatures that lived on Lok.[1] They usually followed predators to scavenge off the carcasses left behind.[2]
Following the Battle of Yavin, the collector Breac Slaus tasked a group of spacers to hunt and kill an unreasonable number of perleks.[3]

Perleks appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[4]
