- "I said mou kei, Pars, not cho mok. If these were your trials, you would have failed."
- ―Dooku to Pars-Valo
Pars-Valo, also known as Pars,[2] was a Jedi Initiate of the Jedi Order.[1] Around 52 BBY,[3] Jedi Master Dooku taught the marks of contact to a group of Initiates, including Pars-Valo. While practicing in a garden in the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant, Dooku reproached the Initiate because he had performed the technique known as cho mok instead of mou kei. The Master also claimed that if these had been Valo's Jedi Trials, they would have failed. Jedi Rael Averross, however, walked into the garden and told Pars-Valo that they was "doing just fine." Pars-Valo replied that they and the Initiates would pass the Trials with Dooku's guidance. When Averross challenged Dooku to a lightsaber duel, Pars-Valo watched along with their companions.[1]
Behind the scenes
Pars appeared in a flashback sequence in the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, written by Cavan Scott[1] and published on April 30, 2019.[4] He was first identified as Pars-Valo in the audio drama's script release[2] on October 1 of the same year.[4]
