Pantoran Plate Specials

Pantoran plate specials were a set of meals and dishes served at Dex's Diner which were known for being cheaper than other meals at the diner. It contained three sections on the menu, breakfast specials, daily soups, and lunch specials. They were named for the Pantoran species.

Behind the scenes

Pantoran plate special are a reference to real life blue plate specials as well as George Lucas's blue skinned Pantoran character Notluwiski Papanoida. They were originally to be called Wroonian plate specials, the original species given to Papanoida, but this was changed after Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode Trespass retconned this.
