As an evolutionary scale developed to aid historians and xenoarchaeologists in classifying a civilization's level of technology, the Pantang Scale of Aero-techno Advancement was not a popular classification system. The primary reason this was that it rated technology required to build a landspeeder as equivalent to that required to build an Imperial-class Star Destroyer.
