A yacht was once owned by Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine.[1] It was Palpatine's favorite yacht on Naboo and[2] was utilized on Coruscant at least once for a visit to the Jedi Temple.[4] Sometime after Palpatine's death during the Battle of Endor,[5] the ship came into the hands of General Brendol Hux of the First Order, who crashed it on the planet Parnassos after it was damaged by the planet's defense grid.[2] The armor worn by Captain Phasma was coated in chromium[1] that was salvaged from the yacht after she tore it apart and forged the armor in one of the planet's abandoned mining stations.[2]
Behind the scenes
The yacht was mentioned in tie-in media for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. It went on to appear in the 2017 novel Phasma and the 2023 novel Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade, both written by Delilah S. Dawson.
