Palia was a terminally ill patient under the care of MHD-19. She joined a rebel convoy transporting civilians to a hidden rebel world. She was on her way to receive experimental treatment for her rare condition, but the Empire ambushed the convoy. The transport she was on managed to jump to hyperspace and escape the battle, but the hyperdrive eventually gave out near the planet Tatooine, where the damaged ship crashed. The survivors set up a camp where they stayed before being attacked by Captain Terro and his forces.[1]
Behind the scenes
Palia first appeared in the Star Wars: Imperial Assault companion app Legends of the Alliance, in the "Jabba's Realm" campaign. Palia has a chance of being one of the eight crash survivors present during the first mission, or guaranteed if the player chooses MHD-19 to be in the squad. Depending upon the actions and success of the player during the missions, Palia's fate can vary. Palia can end up being enslaved by Jabba the Hutt, eaten by a rancor, left behind at Terro's camp, or successfully have escaped Tatooine with the squad.[1]
