A female Twi'lek was the mother of Pala Kwi'teksa, living in a village on Ryloth with her daughter. When the Twi'leks failed to pay the Toydarian baron Begubb the quota of ryll that he demanded, Begubb took one out of every ten children from the village to sell into slavery on Tatooine.
