Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This creature was a tusk cat that Queen Padmé Amidala rode during the Victory Races of Naboo.

This tusk cat obviously didn't enjoy water, and thus would not interact easily with the swamps or other bodies of water on Naboo. It was, however, a very good climber in mountainous terrain.
