A locket that once belonged to Padmé Amidala that she gave to her handmaiden Sabé during the Invasion of Naboo[1] in 32 BBY.[2] The gesture was childish but no less genuine for its innocence. After the Battle of Naboo Sabé attempted to give the necklace back to Amidala as Amidala had instructed but by then Amidala had changed her mind and told Sabé to keep it as a thanks of the planet that would never fully appreciate what she had done.[1]

After Padmé Amidala's funeral[1] in 19 BBY,[2] Sabé and Tonra decided to go to Coruscant to investigate Amidala's death. They would need new identities and would have to give up anything that indicated they were from Naboo including the locket which Sabé decided to leave somewhere safe until she could return for it.[1]

Behind the scenes

A similar item existed in Star Wars Legends as in the book The Queen's Amulet written by Julianne Balmain showed Padmé giving Sabé an amulet shortly before the Invasion of Naboo.[3]
