A paatchi ball was an object in the galaxy. As Han Solo and Chewbacca reached a hyperspace point three light-years from Mindor, they were pulled out of hyperspace by a squadron of TIE/D Defenders and TIE/IN interceptors, and forced into a dogfight in the middle of an asteroid field. As Solo outmaneuvered the pursuing TIE fighters, an asteroid roughly the size of a speeder bike made a sharp forty-five-degree turn in a manner similar to as if it had bounced off of a paatchi ball, then tore through the fighter of the TIE squadron's flight leader.[1]
