P'lia Orkina was a Human male pilot and officer of the Hutt Cartel who lived during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, Commander P'lia Orkina commanded a squadron of M12-L Kimogila heavy fighters in the Tatoo system.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] Orkina and his wingmen assaulted the Tatooine Space Station and defeated the space forces of the Mos Eisley Police Authority, demonstrating the domination of the Hutts over the Tatoo system.[1]

P'lia Orkina appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] P'lia Orkina was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Jump to Lightspeed on October 27, 2004.[1]

Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
