An overcharged power cell was a lightsaber modification that allowed a lightsaber's power cell to overcharge, strengthening the saber's blade. However, this process caused the power cell to become unstable, which meant that the saber's blade had a chance of becoming weak in the middle of a fight. An overcharged power cell cost 500 credits.[1]
