Ord Ivarn[3] was a world[4] located in the Ord Ivarn system, a part of the Hakartha sector[1] in the Western Reaches portion of[2] the Expansion Region.[1] Ord Ivarn served as an Ordnance/Regional Depot outpost for the Galactic Republic during the Pius Dea Era, a period of time that lasted between approximately 12,000 BBY and 11,000 BBY, despite it being located outside the borders of Republic space.[3]
Behind the scenes
Ord Ivarn was introduced in the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare, authored by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[3] The StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Ord Ivarn system, and therefore the world itself, in grid square L-16.[1]
