- "Ah, gentlebeings! Welcome to the herdship Veldt. What can I interest you in today? I have shimmersilks from Kala'uun, flatsculps from Oordo III, corusca stone jewelry from Bimmisaari, and much more."
- ―Tredo Dopra
Oordo III was a celestial body[3] in the Oordo system, a part of the Strabin sector[1] in the New Territories portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] Flatsculps were produced there, with the Ithorian chief trader Tredo Dopra of the herdship Veldt having acquired a number of the artworks by the time of the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance.[3]
Behind the scenes
Oordo III was mentioned in the Star Wars Trilogy Sourcebook, Special Edition, a 1997 sourcebook published by West End Games for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Oordo system, and therefore Oordo III, in grid square M-7.[1]
