Two female individuals were the nieces of[1] the Twi'lek female[2] Oola.[1] By 4 ABY,[3] while Oola was[1] a dancer enslaved by the crime lord Jabba the Hutt,[2] the two nieces lived with their mother–who was Oola's sister–on[1] the Hutt Space moon[2] Nar Shaddaa.[1]
That year,[3] Oola was killed.[1] At some point later that year,[4] the Ortolan musician[1] Maximilian Rebo[5] mentally included the two nieces among those who cared for Oola while he thought back to Oola's death.[1]
Behind the scenes
Oola's nieces were mentioned in Return of the Jedi – Max Rebo 1, a one-shot comic published as part of the comic series Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The issue was written by Daniel José Older and published by Marvel Comics[1] on August 9, 2023.[6]
