Onsible was an ultraviolet color visible to members of the Nediji and the Umbaran species. Most other beings were unable to see the color, and few languages had a name for it.[1] In 20 BBY,[2] the Umbaran Squa Tront wore a garment called a shadowcloak while meeting with the Nediji assassin Kaird, who observed that Tront's shadowcloak was a mixture of colors such as onsible, berl, crynor, and nusp, which swirled together in a way that Kaird considered beautiful.[1]

Onsible appeared in the 2004 novel MedStar II: Jedi Healer, written by Steve Perry and Michael Reaves as the second entry in the MedStar Duology.[1]
