"Working with the amazing folks at Del Rey was a dream and getting to paint my favourite characters for an official book (by the amazing Beth Revis no less!) was just the cherry on the top."
―Oliver Cuthbertson[3]

Oliver Cuthbertson (born June 2[1] in Amman, Jordan) is a British-Jordanian illustrator.[2] For the Star Wars franchise, he created the cover art for Beth Revis's 2022 novel The Princess and the Scoundrel[4] and its audiobook adaptation.[5]

When creating the cover, Cuthbertson considered working with the book's publisher Del Rey to be a dream. He also particularly enjoyed being able to illustrate two of his favorite characters,[3] Princess[6] Leia Organa and[3] smuggler[6] Han Solo.[3] Cuthbertson's involvement with the novel was announced on StarWars.com on May 11, 2022 in a news post revealing the final cover art.[4] On July 22, a modified version of Cuthbertson's art displaying Organa's entire wedding dress was revealed on StarWars.com after being released at San Diego Comic-Con 2022.[7] The novel was published on August 16 of the same year.[4]

He also illustarted the cover art for John Jackson Miller's 2024 novel The Living Force[8] and its audiobook version.[9]
