The Old Ones were a tribe of mature humans who were the parents of the adolescent tribes of the Mud dwellers and Rockhawkers. Some time before 40 BBY,[2] the Old Ones were marked with the symbol of the Ancient Ones and banished to live in the caverns of the Great Mountain by the war-mongering Rockhawkers, their own children.[1]
