The Old Market was a location in Capital City on the planet Lothal.[1] There were frequently many nonhuman individuals at the market.[2] After the resistance fighters known as the Spectres attacked the Empire Day parade through the city[1] in 4 BBY,[3] the Lasat Garazeb Orrelios contacted the Twi'lek Hera Syndulla to suggest a backup rendezvous point. Addressing Syndulla by[1] her[3] code name Spectre-2, Orrelios asked if she could reach the Old Market. When Syndulla confirmed, Orrelios set off to meet her at the market, climbing the side of a building to evade Imperial forces. The pair subsequently rendezvoused and assisted the rest of their companions in escaping.[1]

The Old Market was mentioned in "Empire Day,"[1] the eighth episode of the first season of the animated television series Star Wars Rebels,[4] which aired on November 17, 2014.[5]
