Doctor Okara was a Mon Calamari scientist was stationed at an underwater base on the planet Mon Calamari during the Clone Wars. Angered by the presence of the base, a colony creature sent a horde of dianoga to attack the facility, and in the aftermath of the raid, Okara performed experiments by exposing dianoga to various different frequencies, in an attempt to determine whether the creatures were being mind-controlled.
