Oka-wood was a type of wood that could be used to construct bartops. By the time of the rebellion on the Outer Rim planet Akiva[1] in 4 ABY,[2] the cantina Pok's Place in the world's capital city, Myrra, had a bartop made of the wood.[1] That year,[2] the ex-Imperial loyalty officer Sinjir Rath Velus visited the cantina and watched the establishment's Mon Calamari bartender, Pok, push beverages across its oka-wood bartop.[1]

Oka-wood appeared in Aftermath, a 2015 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the first installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
