The Office of the General, also known as the Office of the General of the Separatist Army was the central command division of the Confederacy of Independent Systems Droid Army overseen by General Grievous during the Clone Wars. In 21 BBY the Office of the General issued a decree increasing homeworld security, prompted by recent incursions into Neimoidian space by Galactic Republic scouting missions. In response, the Neimoidian Home Defense Legion doubled their conscription rate and called up all reservist for active duty to protect Neimoidia and her purse worlds from the war.[2] After Jyvus Space City fell to the Confederacy during Battle of Duro, Neimoidian irregulars and battle droids turned the city into a field command station for the Office of the General.[1]
